The Iranian government believes that the policy pursued by the US in the Middle East is bringing Islamic countries closer together.
“Elchi” reports, citing IRIB, that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this during a meeting with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
“We believe that America’s actions and pressures have created a foundation for rapprochement and increased sustainable mutual relations among Islamic countries, and the numerous meetings and consultations between the Iranian and Pakistani delegations are considered a clear example of this process,” Pezeshkian emphasized.
According to him, Iran and Pakistan are powerful countries in the region and possess great human potential and rich resources: “If we bring these potentials together and join hands, relying on internal and regional capabilities, we can meet many of our needs.”
Pakistan’s Interior Minister highlighted their determination to further develop relations and cooperation between the two countries in all areas.
