Non-compliance has been detected in the seasoned sea salt products under the “Aranami Samurai Salt” brand imported from Japan.
“Elchi” reports that the Food Safety Agency (AQTA) has released information regarding this matter.
It was stated that the products were imported by “PTP AZEL” LLC.
“As part of the control measures, laboratory tests of samples taken from the product batch by AQTA revealed that the iodine content was below the standard level.
In this regard, appropriate measures have been taken in accordance with the legislation, and 22.6 kg of unfit products have been destroyed,” the statement noted.
