Pashinyan held a meeting on the implementation of the TRIPP project

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting to discuss issues related to the implementation of the TRIPP (“Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity”) project.

“Elchi” reported that the press service of the Armenian government provided information about this.

“In particular, the legal and contractual framework of the ‘TRIPP Development Company’ (TDC) and the upcoming tasks were reviewed, and the work done on the draft company charter and the shareholders’ agreement was presented,” the statement says.

A day earlier, the Constitutional Court of Armenia ruled that the framework agreement on strategic partnership between Armenia and the USA regarding the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project does not contradict the Constitution of Armenia.

Following the positive decision of the Constitutional Court, the agreement will be sent to parliament for ratification.

On June 4, a framework agreement on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the USA within the framework of the TRIPP project in Armenia was signed.

It should be recalled that in August 2025, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, and US President Donald Trump signed a declaration on cooperation with Washington and third parties to prepare a framework for the TRIPP project in Yerevan.

The project involves the construction of road, railway, and oil and gas infrastructure. TRIPP will connect the main part of Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through Armenia via a 42-kilometer road, and subsequently to Turkey.
