Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that he is learning the Russian language.
elchi reports that Pashinyan spoke about this at a briefing.
He stated that he is currently attending a Russian language course at the Public Administration Academy of Armenia.
“I am currently attending a Russian language course at the Academy. Anyone can learn Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, or German,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister noted that those working in public administration should not be limited to English only and should learn foreign languages.
Pashinyan expressed these views against the backdrop of discussions regarding increasing the requirements for foreign language proficiency for those working in public administration.
