It is proposed to change the names of two municipalities and the settlements they cover in the Quba district.
“Elchi” reports that the issue regarding this was reflected in the draft on amendments to the “List of municipalities in the Republic of Azerbaijan” added to the Law “On territories and lands of municipalities” at the meeting of the Regional Affairs Committee of the Milli Majlis held on September 16.
According to the draft, it is proposed to rename the Timiryazev-Alekseyevka municipality to the Bahrali-Chinarlı municipality, and the Vladimirovka municipality to the Elbir municipality.
Thus, the villages of Bahrali, Chinarlı, Igrig, Gajar Zeyid, and Zizik of the Quba district will be included in the Bahrali-Chinarlı municipality.
The villages of Agbil, Ashagi Atuc, Dallakli, Elbir, Alibaygishlag, Mirzamammadkand, and Susaygishlag of the Quba district will be included in the Elbir municipality.
The proposed amendments to the draft were put to a vote and recommended to the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
