An explosion has occurred in a five-story residential building in Badamdar.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a report was received by the “112” hotline regarding an explosion in a five-story residential building located in the Badamdar settlement of the Sabail district, Baku.
Following the report, forces from the State Fire Protection Service and the Special Risky Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the area.
During the assessment of the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that the explosion occurred in the bathroom of an apartment located on the first floor of the building, presumably due to a gas-operated device.
Appropriate safety measures were taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations forces at the scene.
One person was injured during the incident.
Relevant authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
