Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, who shared information about the incident via social media, stated that NATO air patrol aircraft reacted immediately to the threat and destroyed the UAV in the airspace. Following the airspace violation, Lithuania’s National Crisis Management Center, which went on high alert, reported that investigations into the wreckage of the downed UAV are ongoing and it has not yet been determined which country the vehicle belongs to.
