The General Directorate of Civil Defense of Saudi Arabia has issued a warning regarding potential dangers in six locations across the country.
“Elchi” reports that in a statement published on the directorate’s account on the “X” (formerly Twitter) social media platform, a warning was issued regarding possible emergencies in the provinces of Jeddah, Yanbu, Taif, and Al-Ula, as well as the city of Abha and the Jazan region.
The statement emphasized the importance of citizens and residents following emergency protocols to ensure their safety and the protection of their property, as well as carefully monitoring the instructions and warnings of the competent authorities.
No information was provided regarding the nature or details of the specific threat.
Later, in a subsequent statement issued by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, it was reported that the threat in the provinces of Jeddah, Yanbu, Taif, and Al-Ula, the city of Abha, and the Jazan region had been cleared.
Huthis frequently target Saudi Arabia’s border regions and southern provinces in response to military operations conducted by the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
Military facilities and critical infrastructure in the region are occasionally subjected to attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ballistic missiles launched from the Yemeni border.
