A landmine incident occurred on September 10, 2026, in the territory of Dashkand village of Khojaly district.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA).
It was stated that an anti-personnel mine exploded while the Agency’s employee, Anar Iftikhar oglu Hasanov (born in 1990), was performing his official duties.
As a result of the incident, Anar Hasanov sustained an injury to his left leg.
The injured employee was evacuated to the district hospital. His condition is satisfactory.
