The start of the new academic year requires more effective measures to be taken to protect the life and health of students, especially children and teenagers, in relation to road traffic on streets and roads.
This was reported to elchi by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was stated that for this purpose, in accordance with the relevant instruction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, a safety month will be held across the country from September 5 to October 5 under the slogan “Attention, children!”.
Within the framework of the event, it is planned to strengthen control and preventive measures to prevent road accidents involving children and teenagers, to inspect road conditions along their routes and in areas where educational institutions are located, to install appropriate road signs, to draw or renew marking lines, and to further intensify awareness-raising and advocacy work among students together with educators, parents, and public institutions.
The Main State Traffic Police Department of the MIA calls on each of us to participate in public efforts to minimize child traumatism on the roads and to set a personal example for minors in observing traffic rules!
