Oil prices exceed $95 amid US-Iran tensions

Oil prices continue to rise in the global market.

elchi reports that the price of November futures for Brent crude oil increased by $0.75, or 0.79%, reaching $95.40 per barrel.
The price of October futures for WTI crude oil rose by $0.45, or 0.50%, reaching $90.67.

The rise in oil prices is attributed to concerns over continued mutual strikes between the US and Iran and the potential for further restrictions on oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.
