On September 1, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
“Elchi” reports that during the conversation, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan-Türkiye bilateral relations are based on brotherhood and strategic alliance, and satisfaction was expressed with the further expansion of ties in all directions.
It was specifically noted that our countries, in accordance with the “One nation, two states” principle, are always by each other’s side in both good and difficult times.
An exchange of views took place at the meeting regarding the further strengthening of regional peace and stability.
The heads of state also discussed the prospects of our alliance relations, the regional agenda, and other issues of mutual interest.
