A fire that started in a grassy area by the roadside in Antalya spread to the fishing port, damaging more than 20 boats.

The fire, which started around 03:30 at night in the Sarisu region, grew rapidly due to the strong wind.
According to the governor, thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the flames were prevented from spreading to other ships at sea and the nearby forest area. The Antalya-Kemer highway, which was closed for a while for safety reasons, was reopened to traffic after the fire was brought under control. The causes of the incident are currently being investigated.
