The selection of specializations for applicants wishing to be admitted to vacant spots in higher education institutions and colleges based on full (11-year) secondary education has begun.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Examination Center (SEC).
The selection of specializations for applicants wishing to be admitted to vacant spots in higher education institutions and secondary specialized education institutions based on full (11-year) secondary education is being conducted from August 28 to September 2 at 23:59.
Applicants who have already been admitted to higher education institutions are not eligible to participate in the competition for vacant spots and college admissions.
Applicants eligible to select specializations must choose up to 20 specialization codes for higher education institutions and secondary specialized education institutions, enter them in the desired order into the “Applicant’s Electronic Specialization Selection Application” located at https://www.e-gov.az/az/services/read/3149/2, and confirm them. When selecting specialization codes for higher education institutions, the applicant (including sub-bachelors) must indicate whether they wish to study on a state-funded or paid basis. If an applicant wishes to participate in the competition for both state-funded and paid spots for a particular specialization, they must enter the code for that specialization into the application twice, indicating state-funded for one and paid basis for the other.
The list of vacant spots in higher education institutions has been published in the 7th issue of the “Abituriyent” magazine. The specializations for which admissions are conducted in secondary specialized schools are published in the 5th issue of the “Abituriyent” magazine.
You can familiarize yourself with the full text of the admission announcement for necessary information regarding student admission to vacant spots in higher education institutions, competition conditions by specialization groups, rules for filling out the electronic application, etc.
Participation of sub-bachelors in the competition
To participate in the specialization selection, sub-bachelors must also enter the codes of the specializations they wish to be admitted to into the “Applicant’s Electronic Specialization Selection Application” and confirm them between August 28 and September 2.
Sub-bachelors can only select specializations from the 7th issue of the “Abituriyent” magazine that correspond to the language of instruction and the specialization they completed at the secondary specialized education level.
Applicants (sub-bachelors) who do not confirm their electronic specialization selection application will not be allowed to participate in the competition.
Applicants who have scored a total of at least 50 points in the admission (graduation) exam, with no less than 10 points in each of the Azerbaijani language (Russian language) and mathematics subjects (no score restriction is applied for the foreign language subject), are allowed to participate in the competition for admission to secondary specialized education institutions.
The specializations for which admissions are conducted in secondary specialized schools are published in the 5th issue of the “Abituriyent” magazine.
