All independent countries should refuse to participate in the US economic war against Iran and should not recognize any of the sanctions against Iran.
“Elchi” reports that this call was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic.
“The US economic sanctions against Iran, regardless of their name or form, are completely illegal and unjustified measures that violate the UN Charter, international humanitarian law, and human rights. Based on this, all countries are obligated to refrain from complying with and implementing such sanctions. Furthermore, all states are obligated not to recognize or support the situations or consequences arising from these illegal acts,” the statement says.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry believes that the participation of other countries in the economic war on the side of the US is equivalent to “the illegal dictation of the will of one state to other independent countries,” which is another gross violation of the UN Charter.
