A yellow and orange warning has been issued regarding the windy weather conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions, from August 27 to 30.
“Elchi” reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has released information about this.
It was stated that in accordance with the yellow warning, a west wind will blow in Nakhchivan, Goygol, Ganja, Samukh, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Dashkasan, Tovuz, Gadabay, Gusar, Shamkir, Khizi, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Gobustan, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Neftchala, Aghdam, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Tartar, Barda, Bilasuvar, Salyan, Jalilabad, Masalli, Yardimli, Lerik, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Imishli, Saatli, Sabirabad, and Jabrayil, with wind speeds reaching 13.9-20.7 m/s.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Goranboy, Naftalan, Julfa, and Ordubad, in accordance with the orange warning, a north-west wind will blow, with wind speeds reaching 20.8-28.4 m/s.
