The Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a training session on the topic “Prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences” at the Sumgayit “ASAN service” center No. 2.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the press service of the MES.
It was stated that the training was attended by the relevant forces of the local structures of the MES, as well as employees of the Sumgayit City Police Department, the Sumgayit City Emergency Medical Station, and the Sumgayit “ASAN service” center No. 2.
The purpose of the training was to further improve the interaction between the staff of the Sumgayit “ASAN service” center No. 2 and the fire protection units involved in the area in case of a fire, to strengthen the professional skills of the personnel in organizing rescue operations and extinguishing possible fires in such facilities, as well as to increase the knowledge of the center’s relevant staff regarding initial behavioral rules during fires.
During the training, “victims” left helpless in the center where the simulated fire occurred were rescued, “first aid was provided” to them, and the “fire was extinguished in a short time”.
At the end of the successfully conducted training, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
