The State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) has allocated 86.9 million manats in 2025 for the financing of the state program for the education of youth in prestigious foreign universities.
elchi reports that this is stated in the report of the Chamber of Accounts on the results of the audit of the formation and use of the State Oil Fund’s assets by main directions.
According to the information, it was planned to allocate 90.8 million manats from the Fund in 2025 for the “State Program for the education of youth in prestigious higher education institutions of foreign countries for 2022-2028”. The actual execution level was 95.7%.
In the reporting year, the total number of students financed by SOFAZ was 1,186. Of these, 833 studied at the master’s level, 337 at the bachelor’s level, and 16 at the doctoral level.
