The State Examination Center has announced the results of the aptitude test held on August 4 for applicants wishing to be admitted to the journalism specialty at the undergraduate level of higher education institutions.

It was stated that applicants can familiarize themselves with the exam results on the SEC website. Out of 827 applicants who earned the right to participate in the exam, 189 did not attend. Of the applicants who participated in the exam, 543 received a passing grade.
Applicants who received a passing grade can select the journalism specialty along with other specialties in their electronic applications during the specialty selection process. Specialty selection will be held from August 12 to 19.
It should be noted that for the first time this year, applicants wrote their essays in electronic format on a computer. Performing the writing task on a computer allowed applicants to present their thoughts in a legible and neat manner, edit the text easily if necessary, and thus make efficient use of the allotted time. This innovation also enabled a more efficient organization of the assessment process and eliminated difficulties related to reading handwriting.
Those who wish to appeal the exam results can apply to the Appeals Commission on August 10–11 from 10:00 to 17:00 by visiting the main administrative building of the SEC (Baku, Ak. H. Aliyev 299) or its regional branches with their identity cards.
