Vyacheslav Bogodelov, the goalkeeping coach of the Ukrainian club “Dinaz”, has been fined for speaking Russian during training.
Teleqraf reports that the specialist shared this information on his social media account.
Bogodelov stated that he has spent 50 years of his life speaking Russian. He also shared a document showing that he was fined approximately 275 dollars and expressed his dissatisfaction:
“Today, I was fined for allegedly speaking Russian during training! First question: If I have been speaking Russian for 50 years, did it bother anyone? Second: I only recognize pure Ukrainian. As far as I remember, this language was only spoken in Ireland and Canada. That’s it. I have never heard pure Ukrainian. Therefore, public figures, thank you for your integrity! But… when I went to the Zaporizhzhia region, none of the guys there paid attention to it. If you were a little smarter, you would understand: not everyone who speaks Russian is a traitor!!! But if you want to, that is your right!!! I have a solution to this problem.”
It should be noted that according to the law adopted in Ukraine in 2019, the use of the Ukrainian language as the state language is mandatory in all areas of public life.
