Exam to be held for taxi drivers

The State Examination Center will hold an exam on August 6, 2026, for taxi passenger car drivers, as well as for drivers performing domestic passenger and cargo transportation by public road transport.

“Elchi” reports that a total of 1840 people have registered to participate in the exam.

The exam will be held at the SEC’s electronic examination building (Baku, Binagadi district, S.S. Akhundov, 50, next to TURKPA) and at Secondary School No. 4 in Nakhchivan city.

The exam is organized in two shifts at 11:00 and 15:00 and lasts for 1 hour. Participants have the opportunity to view their results upon completing the exam or when the allotted time expires. The results are also posted on the SEC website.

Candidates can print their “Exam Admission Ticket” via the “Printing of admission tickets and results for electronic exams” service. Participants must be in front of the exam building at the time indicated on the “Exam Admission Ticket”.

When coming to the exam, candidates must present their “Exam Admission Ticket” and the original of their identity document. If one of the specified documents is missing or there is a discrepancy between them, the candidate will not be admitted to the exam.

In the exam, taxi passenger car drivers are presented with a total of 20 tasks, including 15 on normative legal acts regulating passenger transportation by road and 5 on ethical behavior of drivers. For drivers performing domestic passenger and cargo transportation by public road transport, 20 tasks are presented regarding professional activities and codes of conduct, features of work and rest regimes, and normative legal acts regulating passenger transportation by road. Each correct answer is worth 1 point. Incorrect answers do not affect the result of correct answers. Persons who score 10 or more points are considered to have passed the exam successfully and are issued a certificate valid for 7 (seven) years.
