The president of the Turkish representative Beşiktaş, Serdal Adalı, has commented on the rumors regarding the transfer of Egyptian national team member Mohamed Salah to Trabzonspor.
elchi reports that the club leader stated that the transfer of the star footballer was never in Beşiktaş’s plans.
Adalı stated that Beşiktaş did not want to sign Salah: “I have been watching this issue with regret since yesterday. Our fans should know well that we did not want Mohamed Salah. This transfer did not slip through our fingers. There has never been a situation where we wanted to sign a player, but another club signed him before us. As long as I am the club president, no one has been able to take a player from us. Moreover, our relations with Trabzonspor are good, and such a situation is impossible.”
It should be noted that the 34-year-old forward signed a contract with the Trabzon representative as a free agent. The contract signed between the parties is valid until June 2028.
