The selection of majors for colleges based on 9-year secondary education continues. Applicants should keep in mind that some secondary specialized education institutions only accept students based on full (11-year) secondary education.
“Elchi” reports, citing Azedu.az, that although a number of colleges are included in the admission plan based on 11-year secondary education, they do not conduct admissions based on 9-year secondary education. For this reason, 9th-grade graduates will not be able to see these colleges in their selection lists.
Colleges that conduct admissions based on 11-year secondary education but do not provide for admissions based on 9-year secondary education include Baku Medical College No. 1, Baku Basic Medical College No. 2, Azerbaijan Maritime College under the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy, Nakhchivan Medical College, Ganja Medical College, Sumgayit Medical College named after A. Aliyev, Guba Medical College, Mingachevir Medical College, Sheki Medical College, Lankaran Medical College, Saatli Medical College, and Jalilabad Medical College.
At the same time, Baku Theology College under the Baku Theology Institute of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ganja State Agrarian College under the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Odlar Yurdu College, and Baku Eurasia College are also among the secondary specialized education institutions that only conduct admissions based on 11-year secondary education.
