Russia has reported that 5 people were killed in drone attacks launched by Ukraine on the Moscow region.
“Elchi” reports that the Governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyev, stated on his social media account that air defense systems repelled a drone attack in the Moscow region in the morning hours.
Vorobyev stated that the greatest damage occurred around the Chekhov district and that several fires broke out in the Novoselki industrial zone as a result of the drone attack.
He shared information that the largest fire occurred at a warehouse and had been extinguished, adding that an electrical transformer station and an administrative building were also damaged, and that all emergency services are continuing their work at the scene.
Vorobyev reported that there were deaths and injuries in the Ukrainian drone attack and said: “According to preliminary data, 5 people died and 6 people were injured. All the injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance.”
Vorobyev also noted that drone debris damaged a house and a vehicle in the village of Solnyshko, and that drones were spotted in the Volokolamsk, Klinski, Chekhov, and Serebryano-Prudski settlements in the Moscow region, adding that the army continues to repel the attacks.
