Former Fenerbahçe goalkeeper heads to Spain

Former Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Altay Bayındır may continue his career in Spain.

“Elchi” reports that the AS publication has provided information on this matter.

According to the report, the 28-year-old goalkeeper, currently owned by Manchester United, will spend the 2026/27 season on loan at La Liga representative Celta Vigo.

It is stated that Altay Bayındır will travel to Spain to undergo a medical examination and sign an official contract.

The report notes that Manchester United plans to extend the player’s contract, which expires in the summer of 2027, by one more year by exercising an option. The English club aims to generate revenue from the goalkeeper’s transfer next summer through this move.

It should be noted that the Turkish national team member played 6 matches for Manchester United in the 2025/26 season and conceded 11 goals.
