MES held a drill at Guba District Central Hospital – VIDEO

A drill was held at the “Guba District Central Hospital” public legal entity, jointly organized by the Northern Regional Center (RC) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and the State Fire Control Service (SFCS).

According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, the drill involved relevant personnel and equipment from the Ministry’s Northern RC, the Northern Regional State Fire Control Department of the SFCS, as well as local structural units of the State Fire Protection and Special Risky Rescue services.

The purpose of the drill was to take preventive measures to avoid emergency situations, as well as to increase the knowledge of the facility’s staff regarding behavioral rules during emergencies and civil defense.

In the theoretical part of the event, MES employees provided detailed information about necessary behavioral rules and evacuation measures during emergencies, including fires. Additionally, the participants were visually demonstrated how to use primary fire extinguishing equipment, and their questions were answered.

In the practical part of the drill, after the “Alarm” signal was given regarding a simulated fire, the hospital staff carried out initial intervention, while the MES fire protection and rescue units arrived at the scene promptly to perform operations such as evacuating “victims” from the danger zone, conducting agile reconnaissance at the “fire” site, and “extinguishing the fire.”

Following the successful drill, the results were discussed, relevant instructions were given, and educational materials were provided to the personnel responsible for fire safety at the facility.
