Russia strikes Ukraine: Many dead and wounded

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Russia has carried out large-scale missile and drone attacks across the country, resulting in eight deaths and dozens of injuries.
“Elchi” reports that in a statement on his social media account, President Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army carried out intensive attacks on many regions of Ukraine throughout the night.
Sharing the details of the attacks, Zelenskyy reported that a ballistic missile hit a house in the city of Radushnoye in the Dnipro region, killing a mother, a father, and three children, while two children were pulled alive from the rubble. He also noted that a house was struck in Lviv and search and rescue operations are ongoing. Zelenskyy stated that eight people have lost their lives and dozens have been injured in the attacks across the country so far, and offered his condolences to the families.
More than 70 missiles and over 280 drones were used
Drawing attention to the scale of the attacks, Zelenskyy noted that the targets included the capital Kyiv, as well as the Dnipro, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Stating that numerous civilian residences, businesses, and infrastructure facilities were destroyed or damaged, Zelenskyy reported that more than 70 missiles, a significant portion of which were ballistic missiles, and over 280 attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were used in the attacks. He added that Ukrainian forces intercepted more than 260 UAVs and fighter jets also shot down numerous cruise missiles.
