A fire-tactical exercise was held with the participation of forces from the State Fire Protection Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Nakhchivan City and Babek District State Fire Protection units, and the Babek District rescue unit of the Special Risky Rescue Service.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nakhchivan AR, the purpose of the exercise, held on the topic of “Extinguishing fires in administrative buildings, searching for and rescuing injured persons,” was to further improve the interaction of rescue forces involved in the area in the event of a fire, and to strengthen the professional skills of personnel in extinguishing potential fires at facilities and conducting rescue operations.
During the exercise, in accordance with the evacuation plan in the area where the simulated fire occurred, employees were evacuated to a safe place, “first aid was provided” to the simulated injured persons, and the “fire was extinguished in a short time.”
After the successful exercise, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
