Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has successfully operated its first flight to the city of Kars, Turkey.
This was reported to “Elchi” by AZAL.
Passengers on the first flight to Kars were welcomed with a special ceremony at Kars Harakani Airport. Flights on the new route will be operated twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays. The opening of this route will further expand air connections between Azerbaijan and Turkey, increase travel opportunities for passengers, and contribute to the development of tourism, business, and cultural ties.
It should be noted that Turkey remains the market where Azerbaijan Airlines is most widely represented. Currently, the airline operates regular flights to Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Bodrum, Trabzon, Dalaman, Adana, and Kars.
