On July 30-31, yellow and orange warnings have been issued regarding the expected windy weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the National Hydrometeorological Service.
It was stated that in accordance with the yellow warning, north-westerly winds will blow in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, while in Gobustan, Hajigabul, Shirvan, Salyan, Neftchala, Lankaran, Astara, Masalli, Lerik, Yardimli, Jalilabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Sabirabad, Imishli, Beylagan, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Siyazan, Shabran, Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Khizi, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goranboy, Dashkasan, Naftalan, Ganja, Goygol, Barda, Tartar, Tovuz, Aghstafa, Gadabay, Gazakh, Shamkir, Samukh, and Shaki, south-easterly winds will blow in accordance with the yellow warning, with wind speeds reaching 13.9-20.7 m/s.
In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, in accordance with the orange warning, south-easterly winds will blow, and the wind speed will increase to 20.8-28.4 m/s.
