Following the optimization process carried out in the library system, it is planned to increase the salaries of employees who successfully pass the attestation.
“Elchi” reports that Vasif Gurbanzade, a department head at the Ministry of Culture, stated this to Modern.az while discussing the attestation of IT specialists.
According to him, the main goal of the changes currently being made in the library system is to ensure that libraries operate in accordance with modern challenges.
V. Gurbanzade stated that the optimization serves only to increase the accessibility of books, organize services in accordance with international standards, and enrich library collections.
The department head noted that special attention will also be paid to the training of professional library staff within the framework of this process:
“In order to ensure the professionalism of library staff, the Ministry of Culture has certain plans to involve employees who have passed the attestation in courses and to increase the salaries of library staff after the optimization process. It is planned to implement these plans after this process is completed.”
V. Gurbanzade added that no decision has been made yet regarding the attestation of other employees working in the library system. According to him, at this stage, only about 1,100 employees working in the field of information technology have been involved in the attestation.
