Demolition work has also begun on the road bridge located in the opposite direction of the main highway at the 55th kilometer of the M-2 Baku–Alat–Gazakh–state border with the Republic of Georgia highway, in the territory of Gobustan settlement.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA).
It was stated that the decision to demolish and reconstruct the mentioned bridge, as well as the bridges located on the side roads in both directions of the highway, was made based on the results of technical examinations.
Within the framework of the project, the existing bridges will be demolished and new road bridges that meet modern norms and standards will be built in their place.
