Approximately 300,000 people to be evacuated due to earthquake in Japan

Nearly 300,000 people will be evacuated in Japan.

“Elchi” reports that Sky News channel informed about this, citing Japan’s Disaster Management Agency.

It was noted that aftershocks are continuing on the island of Kyushu, where the earthquake previously occurred. As a result, residents of the island will have to move to evacuation centers.

According to the TV channel, hundreds of soldiers have been sent to this area to conduct rescue operations.

It should be recalled that today, July 28, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Kumamoto Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, in southern Japan. The tremors caused damage and power outages, and authorities issued a tsunami warning, which was later lifted. It is reported that at least one person died and more than 100 people were injured.
