Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated during a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that Tehran reserves the right to respond to Kyiv for the strike on an Iranian merchant ship in the Caspian Sea.

“A phone conversation took place yesterday between Araghchi and Lavrov, and this conversation was largely dedicated to this topic. The head of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Iran reserves its inherent right to respond,” the diplomat said.
