A training session on the topic of “Ensuring public safety in water basins” was held by the Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the Caspian Sea coast in the Jorat settlement of Sumgayit city.
According to the information provided by the Ministry to elchi, the main purpose of the training was to further improve the practical skills of rescuers in conducting rescue operations related to drowning incidents, as well as providing first aid.
During the training, which was attended by employees of the Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue, and the Sumgayit City Emergency Medical Aid Station, rescuers saved “victims” during a simulated drowning incident and, after providing first aid, “handed them over to the relevant authorities.”
Following the successful training, the results achieved were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
