Due to the international matches of “Neftchi” and “Qarabag” football clubs, the operating mode of Baku Metro will be changed.
elchi reports that “Baku Metro” Closed Joint-Stock Company has released information regarding this.
Taking into account the fan interest in both matches, the metro will operate on an enhanced schedule for 2 consecutive days.
In accordance with the metro’s operational plan, the first enhancement measures will be implemented on July 22 at the “Khalglar Dostlugu” station, located near the “Palms Sports Arena” where the “Neftchi” – “Dinamo” (Belarus) match will take place. Additional personnel will be assigned to the station based on a special duty schedule, and control mechanisms will be closely monitored.
On July 23, additional measures will be taken at the “Ganjlik” station, as well as the “28 May” and “Narimanov” stations, located near the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, where the “Qarabag” – CSKA (Bulgaria) match will be held.
Reserve trains will be kept ready for deployment to the line.
After both matches conclude, if necessary, the movement of trains at other metro stations will be regulated in accordance with the operating mode of the mentioned stations.
In general, train movements on both days will be organized according to the existing summer schedule.
