Oil prices on world markets exceed $92

Oil prices on world commodity markets have risen again.

elchi reports that September futures for WTI crude oil on the NYMEX exchange increased by 1.04 US dollars, or 1.23%, to 85.38 US dollars per barrel.

On the ICE exchange, the price of September futures for Brent crude oil rose by 1.27 US dollars, or 1.40%, reaching 92.28 US dollars.

Analysts cite the increasing risks to energy supply amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and concerns about market supply as the main reasons for the price increase. The possibility of the US tightening sanctions against Iran and risks related to the Strait of Hormuz are also considered key factors supporting purchases in the oil market.
