In the event that the US attacks Iran’s bridges and energy facilities, Iran has threatened to strike critical infrastructure in the Middle East.
“Elchi” reports that Iran’s “Tasnim” news agency has provided this information, citing a military source.
According to the source, if Washington attacks similar facilities within Iranian territory, Tehran will launch retaliatory strikes against civilian infrastructure associated with the United States, including bridges and energy facilities.
“Iran possesses an iron will to exercise its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and will never allow it to become a threat to Iran again,” the agency quotes the source as saying.
Previously, US President Donald Trump stated that every time the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacks commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States will strike Iran’s bridges and power plants.
