The examination model to be applied for foreign language subjects at the full secondary education level in 2027 has been announced.

It was noted that there will be a total of 26 test items (25 closed + 1 written). The exam will include 1 listening text with 4 closed-type test items related to it (3 multiple-choice and 1 requiring the selection of true or false answers), 2 reading texts with 4 test items for each (3 multiple-choice and 1 requiring the selection of true or false answers, totaling 8 closed-type test items), 13 closed-type test items checking grammatical and lexical knowledge, and a written task requiring the expression of one’s own thoughts by putting forward facts and arguments based on a given question or idea.
It was stated that, on the initiative of the State Examination Center and with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and regional education departments, seminars were held for foreign language teachers in general education schools operating in the capital city and regions of the republic in April-June 2026 regarding the examination model to be applied in 2027 and the intended changes, and relevant methodological recommendations were provided to them.
