Specialization selection for Master’s degree begins

The specialization selection for the master’s level of higher education institutions is beginning.

This information was provided to elchi by the SEC (State Examination Center).

Bachelors who meet the competition requirements determined based on the results of the admission exams held on February 15, May 17, and June 14, 2026 (and for some programs, the aptitude test results) and who have earned the right to participate in the specialization selection are eligible to participate.

These bachelors must complete their specialization selection online by 23:59 on July 26 to participate in the competition for specializations offered at the master’s level of higher education institutions. Bachelors may choose to participate in the specialization selection and competition based on the results (scores obtained) from any of their exam attempts, according to their preference.

During the specialization selection period, the bachelor selects up to 20 specialization codes that correspond to their completed degree and preferences, enters them in their desired order into the “Bachelor’s electronic specialization selection application,” and confirms them. The specializations selected by the bachelor must correspond to the bachelor’s degree they have completed (and, for some specializations, meet the foreign language requirements) according to the selection table. (The list of specializations for admission and the number of places allocated for these specializations by program are presented in the 4th issue of the “Magistr” journal).

The journal can be purchased from the SEC administrative building (299 Academic Hasan Aliyev Street, Nasimi district, Baku), the “Abituriyent” sales point (2A Davud Aslan Street, Nizami district, Baku), as well as bookstores, or ordered via the www.abiturient.az website and the Wolt application. https://abiturient.az/wolt

The electronic version (PDF format) of the 4th issue of the “Magistr” journal can be obtained at www.abiturient.az.

Only bachelors who have selected and confirmed their specializations in the “Bachelor’s electronic specialization selection application” will be admitted to the competition.
