The registration period for students and teachers for the new specialized education model intended for grades X-XI in full secondary general education institutions under the Baku City Education Department (BŞTİ) has been extended until September 1.
According to information provided to elchi by the BŞTİ, the new specialized education model serves to strengthen the academic role of the school at the full secondary education level and to organize the students’ preparation process for higher education more effectively within the school.
It was stated that the main goal of the model is to ensure that students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for admission to higher education institutions through an enhanced teaching process organized at school, without the need for additional preparatory courses. Within the framework of the new model, the teaching process will be organized in a more purposeful manner according to specialized directions, and special attention will be paid to the development of students’ knowledge and skills in subjects corresponding to their chosen fields of study. This approach will create conditions for them to prepare for their future educational goals in a more systematic and effective way. Students of grades X and XI of full secondary general education institutions under the BŞTİ can participate in the registration process.
It was noted that in the 2026-2027 academic year, the new specialized education model will cover 31 general education institutions in Baku. Students and teachers who wish to participate in the new specialized education model can apply through the electronic system.
