On July 21, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, visited the Kalbajar district.

During the visit, the Prosecutor General visited the Kalbajar District Prosecutor’s Office and the Kalbajar Military Prosecutor’s Office, held meetings with the staff of the prosecution authorities, and became acquainted on-site with their official activities, performance of duties, logistical support, as well as their working and social conditions.
During the visit, the Prosecutor General was provided with detailed information on the main directions of the activities of the prosecution authorities, including the handling of citizen appeals.
At the meeting with the staff, the Prosecutor General emphasized that ensuring reliable rule of law, legality, and public safety in the liberated territories is one of the important priorities of state policy.
It was stated that the performance of duties assigned to the prosecution authorities in those territories with high professionalism, integrity, and a sense of responsibility, improving the quality of criminal prosecution, effective organization of the fight against crime, prompt, objective, and sensitive approach to citizen appeals, and ensuring the reliable protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as state and public interests, are of particular importance.
Furthermore, he drew attention to the importance of continuously improving the professional training of prosecution staff, strictly adhering to ethical conduct rules, strengthening work discipline, increasing the quality and efficiency of investigations into criminal cases under proceedings, improving prosecution activities in line with modern challenges, ensuring citizen satisfaction, and further strengthening public trust in prosecution authorities.
During the meeting, a sincere exchange of views took place with the staff, their proposals and appeals were heard, and relevant instructions and recommendations were given regarding the further improvement of official activities.
During the visit, the working conditions and logistical support created in the administrative buildings were also reviewed, and relevant instructions were given to improve existing capabilities and increase the efficiency of the activities of the prosecution authorities.
During the visit, the Prosecutor General was accompanied by the Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Behruz Ahmadov, heads of structural units of the Prosecutor General’s Office, and other responsible officials.
