A “round table” on the topic of “Joint activities in the field of organizing diving-search and rescue operations during emergencies” was held on the initiative of the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management and Education of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the organization of the North Regional Center.
elchi reports, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations, that the “round table” was attended by representatives of the ministry’s structural divisions operating in the region, as well as responsible officials from the Executive Authorities of Khachmaz, Shabran, and Siyazan districts, and local self-government and executive bodies.
During the event, the results of monitoring conducted by employees of the MES North Regional Center and the North Regional Department for Control over Small Vessels of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue to ensure safety at beaches and other water bodies in the region were presented with photo slides. Detailed information was provided regarding the identified shortcomings, the state of awareness-raising work, and the safety measures implemented.
At the event, the work done in the field of preventing emergencies in the region, existing problems, and upcoming tasks were also discussed, proposals were voiced, and relevant instructions and recommendations were given.
