In order to improve the road transport infrastructure in Baku, repair works are starting on a number of streets.
elchi reports that the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads has stated that repair works are planned to be carried out on the following streets starting from July 16:
Nasimi district, Agadadash Gurbanov street;
Yasamal district, Sheikh Mahammad Khiyabani street;
Nizami district, Aliagha Kurchayli street.
In addition, starting from July 17, repair works will begin in the following areas:
Nizami district, J. Nakhchivanski street (right and left sides of the 8th kilometer market);
Yasamal district, Ayna Sultanova street.
During the repair works, the movement of vehicles in the mentioned road sections may be partially or completely restricted in accordance with the progress of the work. Drivers are requested to treat the ongoing works with understanding, plan their routes in advance, and use alternative roads whenever possible.
