MES held training on rescue operations in cases of drowning – VIDEO

The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a training session on the topic “Ensuring the safety of people in water basins” on the Caspian Sea coast in Lankaran.

According to the information provided to elchi by the MES, the main purpose of the training was to further improve the practical skills of rescuers in conducting rescue operations related to drowning cases, as well as providing first aid.

In the training, which was attended by employees of the Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the “South” diving-search group of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue, the “N” military unit of the Special Risky Rescue Service, and the Southern regional department of the State Border Service Coast Guard, rescuers saved “victims” during a simulated drowning incident and, after providing first aid, “handed them over to the relevant authorities.”

After the successful training, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
