The State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a drill on the topic “Behavioral rules and evacuation during emergency situations” at the “Nizami Ganjavi” museum located in Ganja city.

According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry, the main purpose of the drill, which involved the relevant personnel and equipment of the MES, was to instill behavioral rules during emergency situations, including fires, in the museum staff, as well as to further improve the activities of fire protection units during possible fires in such facilities.

In the theoretical part of the drill, the museum staff was provided with detailed information about necessary behavioral rules and evacuation measures during emergency situations, including fires, and their questions were answered.

In the practical part of the drill, after the “Alarm” signal was given in connection with a simulated fire, the fire protection units of the State Fire Protection Service arrived at the scene operatively and began “firefighting” measures. In accordance with the evacuation plan in the museum where the simulated fire occurred, the evacuation of employees to a safe place was carried out, “first aid was provided” to the simulated injured persons, and the “fire was extinguished in a short time”.

A total of 20 personnel and 4 pieces of equipment were involved in the drill.

After the successfully conducted drill, the results obtained were discussed and relevant instructions were given.
