In order to coordinate the activities of central and local executive authorities, departments, enterprises, and organizations regarding the preparation and conduct of the population census, a Central Commission for assistance to the population census will be established by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Elchi” reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov stated this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to issues related to the next population census in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Prime Minister stated that he has appointed Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov as the chairman of the Commission: “Relevant agencies must submit their candidates at the deputy head level for the formation of the Commission’s composition within 10 days.”
