Starting from this year, state education documents will be issued only in electronic format.
“Elchi” reports that Vusal Khanlarov, Head of the Education System Informatization Department, stated this in an interview with journalists.
According to him, based on the decision adopted this year, certificates of general education, vocational education certificates, as well as diplomas and certificates for higher and secondary specialized education will be provided electronically: “We have already issued the first electronic diploma. The first electronic diploma was presented to a citizen receiving vocational education. In the coming days, the accessibility of electronic diplomas and certificates will be ensured through the myGov platform.”
He noted that the goal is to make these opportunities accessible to all citizens starting this year: “The main point here is that once the educational institution confirms all information about the student in the system and signs it electronically, the certificate or diploma will be generated automatically. This will both eliminate time loss and enable the operational verification of documents.”
