The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information about a fire in a fuel-carrying vehicle near the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex in the Binagadi district of Baku.
The Press Service of the MES informed “Elchi” that, upon receiving the information, the forces of the Ministry’s State Fire Protection Service were immediately dispatched to the area.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, the fire that broke out in the cabin of the “Mercedes” brand vehicle, which had thirty-one tons of diesel fuel in its trailer, was extinguished in a short time, preventing it from spreading to the fuel tank and causing severe consequences.
As a result of the fire, the cabin of the vehicle burned.
There were no injuries.
The fuel tank full of fuel in the vehicle’s trailer was protected from the fire.
