Slovakia’s footprint will remain in Karabakh forever.
“Elchi” reports that the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, stated this in a joint press statement with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Shusha.
“I am very pleased that today we will go together to a newly built village in Aghdam. I am also grateful for the great honor shown to me that the school, which will serve the children who will live in this village and the surrounding areas, will bear the name of Slovakia’s prominent historical figure, General Milan Rastislav Štefánik. Thus, Slovakia’s footprint will remain in Karabakh forever, and the children who will study at this school, their parents, and teachers will, in a sense, be connected to Slovakia,” the Slovak President noted.
